Michael Weiss, Partner/CEO at Imagistic, recently worked the seminar circuit with several speaking appearances on Web design and planning.
On June 4th, he conducted a seminar on Effective Web Planning through NPower LA. The seminar course description was as follows: If you are a marketing director or an IT manager, chances are you are going to have to deal with your organization's website. The directive will come from somewhere deep inside the organization: "We need to redesign our website! We are not using the Web effectively to reach our constituents." This seminar will focus on how to approach the development process for any website project. Here you will learn whether or not to outsource a web development project, how to choose a vendor, and most importantly how to develop and design an effective website that strengthens and extends your brand online and reaches out to your audience. We will discuss issues revolving around design, information architecture, integration with legacy systems, CRM and CMS solutions, eCommerce and much more. Our goal is that you will leave this seminar fully equipped to take on any website project.
On June 3rd, Michael held a seminar on Web design and Web development for the Southern California Minority Business Development Council.
He served as a facilitator on May 20-21 at the Managing Nonprofit Technology Projects II - West Coast event in Oakland, California, hosted by Aspiration and Idealware.
Michael Weiss is also a frequent judge for the Stevie Awards and conducts annual seminars at the Nonprofit Technology Network Conference, typically covering the topic of Web development. In 2006, he was quoted in BusinessWeek on the benefits of hiring a Web developer.
