VENICE, CALIFORNIA – July 2003 – Imagistic launched a new Web site for Piccadilly Cafeterias, a southeast restaurant chain with 175 stores based out of Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Piccadilly came to Imagistic to redesign its Web site in order to reach out to a younger, more web-savvy demographic. Using new imagery and expanding the site's features, Imagistic developed a new site that emulates the Piccadilly experience online. The first task was to overhaul the information architecture of the entire site to create an easy-to-use and intuitive navigation system. The goal was to get customers one click away from all content. Imagistic also developed a robust Content Management System that allows the staff at Piccadilly Cafeterias to update the site's content and keep it fresh.
Features included updating the Piccadilly-To-Go feature that allows customers to place orders online; developing a dynamic store locator; enhancing the Gift Card purchase system to make it easier for customers to purchase Gift Cards online; and expanding the Join Our Team section so potential employees can apply online and have their resume submitted to the Human Resources database.
