Imagistic is proud to announce its collaboration with the Hispanic American Periodicals Index (HAPI), a project of UCLA's Latin American Institute, on an ambitious feature upgrade. "This initiative aims to significantly enhance HAPI's custom online index," explains Kevin Howard Goldberg, CEO of Imagistic, "and streamline critical processes for its users."
The planned upgrade includes improving functional efficiency related to SciELO data imports. SciELO, the Scientific Electronic Library Online, is an electronic library that provides open-access scholarly content across multiple disciplines. As well, the project will introduce a robust report automation and notification system.
Imagistic is also integrating ORCiD into HAPI's author management system. ORCiD provides a persistent digital identifier that ensures accurate attribution of works to their respective authors, reducing ambiguities and enhancing scholarly visibility.
Development of these upgrades is set to commence in early 2025.
